Business and first class flights to Italy

Rome, Milan, Venice, and Naples are different arrivals. The Aran Grant banner shows code ITALY50. Confirm it on their checkout. This page does not quote a fare.

Fare & Find may earn a commission if you book or buy through a link on this page. That does not change the price you pay. Affiliate disclosure.

Landing in Rome is a different trip from landing in Milan or Venice, even when both fares say Italy. Photo via Unsplash.

Fare & Find publishes this guide so you can compare business and first class trips to Italy before you open a live search. The Colosseum is one neighborhood in one city. A fare to "Italy" might land in Rome, Milan, Venice, Naples, or somewhere else and then put you on a train. Choose the arrival city first.

This page is not an Italian carrier, not a tourism office, and not a checkout. The button lower down opens Aran Grant after you click. Fare & Find is not Aran Grant, does not set the fare, and does not promise that any result is the lowest.

Pick the Italian city before you pick the fare

Rome (Fiumicino and, less often, Ciampino), Milan (Malpensa and Linate), Venice, and Naples serve different holidays. A nonstop to the city where you will spend the first night is usually easier to judge than a lower fare that arrives four hours away by train. If you are visiting more than one city, an open-jaw ticket, into one airport and home from another, can be the cleaner shape. Compare that open jaw with two one-way fares only after you include bags and the change rule on each.

Season changes the product more than a slogan does. Late spring and early autumn are busy for a reason. August is busy in a different way. The guide cannot tell you which week will be less expensive next year. It can tell you to search your real dates, then a day on either side, and to ignore a fare that lands at an hour when you will not take the last train into the city.

Entry rules are not part of the ticket. A confirmed seat is not a visa, an ETIAS authorization, or a customs decision. Check the current government guidance for your passport separately, before you treat a fare as bookable.

The long-haul seat and the short European hop

The flight that crosses the ocean and the flight that continues inside Europe are often different airplanes. Long-haul business class may be a lie-flat seat. A short flight marketed as business class inside Europe is often an economy seat with an empty middle and a different snack. First class on that short hop, where the name is used, is not the same suite a long-haul first class product might be.

Read both segments. A mixed-cabin itinerary that is honest about the short hop can still be the right trip. A mixed-cabin itinerary that hides the short hop in a small label is not something to discover at the gate.

Advertiser code ITALY50

ITALY50 is the promo code named on the Aran Grant creative for this search. Fare & Find did not create it and does not control it. The banner also carries Aran Grant's own discount wording. This page does not adopt a percent off or a dollar amount as fact. It may fail for some dates, some cities, some cabins, or some payment types. It may also do nothing if the field on the checkout is for a different offer. Type it only when the merchant's own page shows that same code, and read whether the total changed before you pay. If the total does not change, the code did not apply. Do not assume a savings amount. This page will not invent one.

The banner below is the advertiser's image, at the size they published. Wording on that image is their claim. Use the checklist above, not the banner, to decide whether the fare fits the trip.

On the advertiser's site, filter for the cabin you want and the airport you will actually use. Open two or three itineraries. Reject one that looks lower only because the long flight is economy, unless economy is what you meant to buy. Re-check bags. A premium fare can still limit weight or the number of pieces.

If you are starting in the United States, read business class flights from the United States for the gateway and the domestic leg. The broader cabin comparison is how to compare premium flight options. When to book flights covers timing without pretending there is one cheapest day.

Fare & Find may earn a commission if you book through the partner link. The commission does not add a fee on your side. Details are on the affiliate disclosure. The privacy policy explains the click, and the about page says who publishes the guide.
